     The Department of English aims at transforming the students into the rational human resources with an inquisitive and communicative bent of mind through literary, theoretical and linguistic exposure.

                             The mainstay of the mission of the Department of English is to offer           students adequate communication skills to prepare them for their professional            needs in the globalized scenario prevalent today.

            The Department has taken upon itself the mission of working zestfully  and resourcefully helping students to excel the four skills of listening, speaking,  reading and writing.
